As the son of a noted New England artist, Rory grew up with the opportunity to create freely. The green mountains of Vermont are the main focus and source of inspiration for his work.

As a painter, my aim is to bring life to the veiwer, a relationsip between the earth and the people who hold covenant with it. What has remained the same throughtout every stage of my life is the simple pleasure of watching an image come to life through my eyes, heart and hand.

Based in Bristol, Vermont, Rory spends much of his time in Ghana running the Trinity Yard Scool - a secondary education school with an emphasiis in arts training. Rory is known throughout New England for his engaging landscapes.
